Owned and operated by physical therapists since our inception, we provide outstanding and convenient care with a focus on putting our patient’s best interests and well-being first.

David Mikos, Owner at Quinnipiac Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine

David Mikos, DC, PT, MCTA

Owner

Dr. Mikos established Quinnipiac Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine in 1996. Focused on providing the most comprehensive approach to manual therapy in the region, he has built and developed Quinnipiac Physical Therapy into one of the most trusted centers in the region. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 1990 and received his Doctorate Degree in Chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport College in 1996. In 1998, David became an accredited teacher in the Mulligan Concept Teachers Association. This association teaches a non-thrust mobilization technique, emphasizing the immediate restoration of pain-free movement. He continues to teach this concept nationally. David enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in his community.

Stephen Giblin, DPT

Physical Therapist

Dr. Stephen Giblin, DPT joined Quinnipiac Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine in 2019 and brings a specialized, holistic approach to patient care. A proud double alumnus of Quinnipiac University, Dr. Giblin earned his B.S. in Health Sciences in 2016, followed by his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2019. Dr. Giblin is dedicated to advanced practice, holding specialty certifications in evidence-based techniques including the Mulligan Concept, Dry Needling, and Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training. He utilizes these skills to create comprehensive care plans, always treating the individual as a whole to ensure optimal function and recovery. In his free time, Steve enjoys staying active through longboarding and paddle boarding, and relaxing at home with his wife and their two cats.

Frank Raccio, PTA, ATC

PT Assistant

Frank joined Quinnipiac Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine in 2008. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Tampa in 2007. While a member of our team at QPTSM, Frank worked at North Haven High School as their athletic trainer until 2011. Continuing his education, Frank received a degree as a physical therapy assistant from Naugatuck Valley Community College in 2014. Frank has training in the Mulligan Concept technique which utilizes mobilizations to allow for pain-free range of motion. Frank has taken courses to expand his training with the McKenzie Institute to treat mechanical spinal pain. Frank works in conjunction with our physical therapists on staff to provide exceptional treatment within the plan of care for our patients.

William J. Coon, ATC/L, PTA, CSCS

PT Assistant

William graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine and later went on to receive his Associate’s Degree in the Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2007 from NVCC. He has been treating in the outpatient orthopaedic setting for over 20 years. William was also adjunct faculty teaching at the college level in the PTA program at NVCC for 5 years and has mentored over 30 students in the outpatient orthopaedic setting. He also serves as an Onsite Reviewer for The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). He has specialty training in the Mulligan Concept, Maitland Accessory/Physiological Joint Mobilization, Cyriax Differential Diagnosis and Treatment, the McKenzie Protocol for treatment of the spine and dry needling. Utilizing evidence based techniques and care plans, he works methodically to return each patient to their best functional outcome.

AEDEN MORLEY, DPT

Physical Therapist

Aeden is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who has been practicing for 3 years with advanced training and certifications in lower extremity Mulligan techniques, dry needling and blood flow restriction therapy. With a focus on evidence-based, patient-centered care, Aeden helps individuals restore movement, reduce pain and return to the activities they love stronger and more resilient than before. Aeden grew up locally in Hamden, Connecticut and graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2022.

CHRISTINE CIMINO, RPT

Physical Therapist

Christine graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science – Human Performance. She then continued her education at SCSU to receive her Master’s Degree in Exercise Science-Human Performance. Christine went on to fulfill her dream to become a physical therapist at the University of Hartford graduating with her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2006. She has spent the majority of her career specializing in orthopedic injuries and post-operative orthopedics in several disciplines including outpatient/inpatient and homecare settings. Christine is excited to further her career at QPTSM and looks forward to what the future holds.

Christian Rodriguez, PTA

PT Assistant

Christian joined Quinnipiac Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine in 2021. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S in Biology and then went on to receive his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Norwalk Community College. As a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant, he is passionate about helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence through personalized, evidence-based care. With specialized training in the Mulligan Concept for lower extremity treatment and certification in blood flow restriction training, Christian integrates innovative techniques to enhance recovery and optimize performance. In his free time, he enjoys playing softball, camping and spending time with his family and friends.

STEVEN ENGLAND, PTA

PT Assistant

Steve joined Quinnipiac Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine in 2025. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science at Central Connecticut State University in 2016. He later went on to complete his Associate of Science Degree for Physical Therapist Assistant at Connecticut State Naugatuck Valley in 2024. During his time in the program, he earned several prominent accolades including the Marie Smith Memorial Academic Award for academic and clinical excellence, and his induction into the APTA Academy of Education Phi Tau Alpha Honor Society. He is currently working on completing the McKenzie method of mechanical diagnosis and therapy (MDT) program in addition to training in the Mulligan Concept. When Steve is not treating his clients, he is out playing golf, watching hockey, or hanging out with his friends. He also wants you to know that lasagna is his favorite food, cannoli is his favorite dessert, and helping his clients overcome their physical ailments is his favorite passion.
